Coming from a humble base, I always aimed higher. Cracking tier-1 exams like IIT and UPSC was my way to move forward and unlock new opportunities. I got into UX design early during my B.Tech in IT at IIIT Allahabad, driven by a deep curiosity about people, systems and creativity. Over time, I realized that both design and UPSC share a common purpose - understanding people and solving real problems. That purpose drew me to both paths and shaped me into someone who is empathetic, structured, and grounded.

Working with me feels easy and positive. I try to bring a friendly, happy energy that creates harmony in the team, because good vibes lead to better work. I believe it’s not just about getting the job done, but also about giving everyone a chance to grow, contribute, and feel heard. I support both my team and seniors with the same spirit of collaboration and respect.

Both discipline shaped me in different ways. IIIT showed me the power of persistence and how repetition can build mastery. UPSC, on the other hand, taught me patience, empathy, and the ability to see a problem from multiple perspectives. It also helped me develop deep focus and the skill to simplify complex ideas, something that stays with me in every project I work on.

I’ve worked in logistics, e-commerce, food tech, telecom, edtech, and health. Solving real-world, everyday problems excites me, especially where design can create clarity in complex systems.

The bigger picture. Even small progress matters. I remind myself why I started and stay connected to people and purpose.

Outside work, I stay active through cycling, running, and workouts - it helps me stay focused and clear-headed. One of my proudest moments was cycling from Gurgaon to Dehradun and back on my TREK MTB X-Caliber, completing the round trip in 23 hours (with a 5-hour rest). I also find joy in traveling, volunteering with RHA and the CRY Foundation, and spending time with dogs and in nature. These moments keep me grounded and always offer fresh perspectives.

At JioMart, I redesigned the Help & Support flow into a conversational, guided experience with real-time ticket visibility. It felt more human, reduced confusion and made users feel genuinely supported - turning a pain point into a trust-building moment.

I keep it honest and kind. Focus on the “why” behind design choices. I welcome feedback as a chance to improve.

I map user goals to business goals early. I keep an eye on metrics like conversion, NPS and task success rate.

Yes. I use the MoSCoW method and collaborate with PMs to define MVPs and quick wins. I also try to kick off early with a design sprint-style sync bringing all PMs together to align on priorities. If priorities conflict or exceed our capacity, we involve the head of design or product owner to help make the final call. At the end of the day, we’re all human and aim to stay focused on what creates the most value.

I collaborate closely, invite them to our design sprint planning call, gather requirements, share timelines, provide early inputs and stay involved in key decisions.

I show “before vs after” flows, use numbers (like drop in complaints or increase in completion rates) and tell simple user stories.
