Hi! I’m Abhishek

I’m currently working at Delhivery as a Lead Product Designer with 9+ years of experience in product and UX design leadership across B2C, B2B, and platform-first companies like Jio Platforms, Swiggy Dineout, Times Internet and a few startups.
Design is impact. I believe design has the power to connect people, scale products, and drive meaningful business growth.
Design is everywhere. But with the right tools and skills, it becomes visible, tangible, and powerful.

📟 Before 2012: Seeds of Curiosity
“You really experience things when you take them slow. Even tech, when rare, felt magical”

Life felt slower, simpler, and more detailed. With limited access to tech, I became deeply observant - curious about the things I couldn’t afford but always tried to understand. That habit of paying attention laid the foundation for how I see and solve problems today.

🎓 2012-16: From Code to Design
“Design began with people - not tools. What stayed wasn’t just the code but the collaboration. Good design is never solo.”

IIIT Allahabad opened up a world of exploration. I had cleared the IIT JEE and opted for IIIT to stay close to CS/IT - hoping to build something meaningful in tech. I led the design & marketing wing of our tech society, worked on front-end projects and started noticing design in everything—teamwork, conversations, problem-solving. That’s when design found me.

🚀 2016-19: Designing Through India’s Mobile Revolution
“In a faster world, magic shifted from ideas to instant experiences. The challenge wasn’t just to build fast, but to make fast feel effortless”

India’s startup boom brought a wave of urgency. At Times Internet, I transitioned fully into product design, solving for scale, speed and real-time users. I represented our team at Facebook’s product event, alongside folks from Amazon, Flipkart and MMT. This was the era where design became data-driven, mobile-first, and mission-critical.

🌍 2019-22: The Pandemic & Inner Shift
“Stillness revealed what speed never could—clarity, discipline, and a different kind of design: within”

Covid slowed the world and so did I. I stepped away from corporate life to prepare for Indian Civil Service and reflect on deeper problems around people, systems and purpose. I also helped shape design strategy for a travel-tech startup during this time. Though I didn’t clear the exam, the clarity, focus, and perspective I gained stay with me.

💼 2022-Now: Back to Build, Forward to Lead
“Returning wasn’t stepping back it was showing up with more clarity, more purpose. Now, I build with both hands and both eyes wide open.”

Returning to design felt intentional. I joined Jio, and now lead product designer at Delhivery, driving design across high-impact verticals in logistics and supply chain. The systems thinking and leadership mindset shaped during Civil Services Exam now guide how I lead teams, shape strategy, and scale user impact.

Achievement Records

Highlights that shaped my journey - small wins, real impact, and moments that reflect the values I bring to work and life. And a few quiet wins that never made it here, but stayed with me.

Life Is Not Merely Breathing

It’s about moving, feeling, giving and being present - through travel, long rides, shared impact, and quiet moments with nature.

✈️ Travel

I’ve explored 6–7 countries to understand how people live, think, and create. These journeys shaped how I view culture, storytelling, and design as deeply contextual experiences.

🚴‍♂️ Cycling & Discipline

From cycling solo, from Gurgaon to Dehradun to riding in club events and health awareness cyclothons, cycling is where I find rhythm and reflection. It keeps me grounded, focused, and present.

❤️ Giving Back

Through my work with NGOs like CRY Foundation and the Robin Hood Army, I’ve supported education, food drives, and community outreach. Designing for impact starts with being close to the ground.

🌿 Nature & Companionship

My best thinking often happens in nature or with Luna & Bruno, my dog and occasional life coach. I believe in simple living, deep observation, and meaningful presence.

That’s great, you made it this far!
Trust me, you already have the patience and curiosity that matter most. If you’d like to connect over a call, I’d love to hear your story too.
